Analyzing thermal buckling in curvilinearly stiffened composite plates with arbitrary shaped cutouts using isogeometric level set method

چکیده
In this paper we develop a new simple and effective isogeometric analysis for modeling thermal buckling of stiffened laminated composite plates with cutouts using level sets. We employ first order shear deformation theory to approximate the displacement field stiffeners plate. Numerical treatment trimmed objects, such as internal in terms NURBS-based presents several challenges, primarily due need tensor product NURBS basis functions. Due feature, refinement operations can only be performed globally on domain not locally around cutout. The approach overcome drawbacks complex geometries multiple-patches sets are used describe cutouts; while numerical integration is inside physical domain. Results parametric studies presented which show influence ply orientation, size orientation cutout position profile curvilinear stiffeners. examples high reliability efficiency present method compared other published solutions ABAQUS.
